How much does a certified translation or legalisation cost?
Prices depend on the document, the language pair, the destination country and the deadline, and embassy fees vary widely. Send us your documents and we reply with a fixed price, usually within one working day.
Do I have to visit your office?
No. Most orders are handled entirely by email and courier. You can also meet us by appointment, and we come to you for interpreting.
Can Palestinian documents get an apostille?
No. Palestine is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so Palestinian documents are authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and legalised by the embassy of the destination country. We handle the whole chain.
Do you work with Palestinians living abroad?
Yes. We retrieve, authenticate, legalise and translate Palestinian documents for clients around the world, and arrange apostilles and legalisations abroad for clients in Palestine.
Certified translation
Will embassies and universities accept your certified translations?
Our translations are prepared in the format each authority asks for. When an authority requires a translator registered in its own country, or a sworn translator, we tell you before you pay and arrange the right type of translation.
How long does a certified translation take?
Standard civil documents such as birth certificates are usually ready within one to three working days. Longer files are scheduled with you when we send the quote. Urgent service is available on request.
Can I send a photo instead of the original?
Yes. A clear scan or photo is enough for the translation itself. Some authorities ask to see the translation attached to a certified copy of the original; we will tell you if yours does.
Why don't you publish prices?
The price depends on the language pair, the length of the document, the certification required and the deadline. Send us the document and we reply with a fixed price, usually the same working day.
Legal & business translation
Do you translate bilingual contracts?
Yes. We can deliver the Arabic and English versions side by side, clause by clause, so both parties sign one document.
Can you work with large tender files on short deadlines?
Yes. Large files are split between specialist translators working from a shared glossary, then reviewed by one senior linguist for consistency.
Is legal translation also certified?
Every legal translation can be certified with the translator's declaration and stamp. Tell us if it will be filed with a court or registry so we use the required format.
Apostille
Can a Palestinian document get an apostille?
No. Palestine is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so Palestinian documents are authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and then legalised by the embassy or representative office of the destination country. We handle the full process.
I live in Palestine but my document was issued in Germany. Can you help?
Yes. We work with partners in the issuing country to obtain the apostille or legalisation there, and arrange the certified Arabic translation if you need it locally.
How long does an apostille take?
It depends entirely on the issuing country and authority — from a few days to several weeks. We give you a realistic estimate with the quote.
Embassy & consular legalisation
What is the difference between legalisation and apostille?
An apostille is a single certificate valid between Hague Convention members. Legalisation is a chain of stamps ending with the embassy of the destination country. Palestinian documents always use legalisation.
Do I need to be present at the embassy?
Usually not. Most legalisations can be done by our team on your behalf. Some embassies require a power of attorney or the applicant's presence for certain documents; we tell you in advance.
Can you legalise commercial documents?
Yes. We legalise invoices, certificates of origin, company registration documents and powers of attorney for business use, often with a chamber of commerce stamp first.
Ministry authentication (MOFA)
Is MOFA authentication enough for use abroad?
Rarely on its own. Most destination countries also require legalisation by their embassy or representative office after the MOFA stamp.
Can you authenticate documents for people living abroad?
Yes. Palestinians abroad can send us their documents or authorise us to request certified copies, and we handle authentication and legalisation in Palestine.
Certified true copies
Do I need to bring the original?
Yes. The notary must see the original document to certify a copy. We can arrange the appointment and accompany you, or collect the original with your authorisation.
Can a certified copy be legalised?
Yes. A notarised copy can be authenticated by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then legalised by an embassy, exactly like an original.
Power of attorney
Can you write the power of attorney text for me?
Yes. We prepare a bilingual draft based on what the agent needs to do. For complex property or estate matters we recommend having a lawyer review the scope.
Does a power of attorney expire?
That depends on the text and on the receiving authority. Many banks and registries only accept powers signed within a recent period, so we suggest signing close to the time it will be used.
Document retrieval
I live abroad. Can you get my Palestinian birth certificate?
In most cases, yes, with a copy of your ID and an authorisation. We can also have it authenticated, legalised and translated before sending it to you.
Can you obtain documents from other countries?
Yes. Through partner offices we request certificates and records from many countries, including the Gulf, Europe and North America.
Interpreting
How far in advance should I book?
For consecutive interpreting, a few days is usually enough. For simultaneous interpreting and rare language pairs, two weeks or more is recommended.
Can you interpret remotely?
Yes. We provide remote interpreting on all common video platforms and by phone, which is often the most practical option across checkpoints and borders.
